Cedar shake wood cleaning, along with most siding (Vinyl, stucco, etc.) is a two step process. It entails low pressure application with cleaning solution to breakdown and neutralize organic matter embedded in the wood fibers, followed by a wood brightening applicaiton. When Cleaning cedar it is crucial not to apply high pressure to the surfaces, cedar is a soft wood which etches easily. Our cleaning method will neutralize all organic growths to provide a long lasting clean ( Longer & Safer than if surfaces were pressure washed). Following the cleaning we will apply a wood brightening treatment to give the best possible appearance. Proper maintenance is important to maximize the life of cedar shake roofing and siding.

Excessive water will be done around all plants, bushes, trees and all foliage to prevent any adverse effects from the cleaning. Many Plants, bushes, trees foliage are delicate and water to prevent damage from the cleaning solution may cause browning of plants inadvertenty depending on the sitiatution of the sun and its strength the day of cleaning. water droplets on foliage can act as magnifying lens for thr sun and brown foliage. Foliage will be restored over time, and can be expedited with pruning.

When cleaning pavers, our team will first soft wash the surface area prior to pressure washing. This method is an additional step thats provides the best and longest lasting results possible. Pressure washing surfaces only removes organics visually, leaving behind the organic spores still embedded within the surface which allows for faster regrowth. Our additional soft wash step eliminates all organic growth it comes in contact with which will allow for longer lasting thorough cleaning. Surfaces such as blue stone & Travertine joints may be deteriorated and loose prior to our arrival, and while our technicians are meticulous during all cleaning projects, they cannot control if any loose or deteriorated joints worsen or become displaced. Stains such as grease,oil, rust & other stains not of organic matter would require specific solution application to remove which may add additional cost.

Paver Cleaning Projects depending on age and condition of the polymeric sand may require re application of the polymeric sand upon completion of cleaning. Proper joint stabilization is vital in preventing shifting of the pavers as well as reduce/ eliminate weed growth between pavers. This additional service can be provided at an additional cost.

Wood Deck cleaning involves application of a premium quality wood cleaning solution to break down all unsightly growths followed by low pressure rinsing to remove the unwanted grime. Some loose paint/stains may chip during the process. We are extremely delicate, but cannot control the condition of the material. We will not be blasting any surface but light peeling due to the wetness and potentially lifted paint/stain currently sitting there will determine how much comes off. (Typically very minimal if any)
